Original Granny 4 mm hook and DK

PATTERN
Chain 3 sl.st. into circle
ROUND 1:Same col: start in any spoke space. 8trebles, chain 2 between each spoke, sl st to complete round and weave in ends.
ROUND 2:Second col: Corner Start: 2 tebles, 3 chain 2 trebles, 1chain, 2 trebles, 1 chain,. repeat 4 times. sl st to complete round and weave in ends.
ROUND 3: Third col: Corner start: 2 trebles, 3 chain, 2 trebles, 2 chain 2 trebles, 2 chain, 2 trebles, 2chain, repeat 4 times, sl st to complete round and weave in ends
ROUND 4: cont. in third col or change to 4th col: 5 sc in corner spaces, 1sc in each of next two stitches, 2 sc in space, 1sc in next 2st, 2sc in next space, 1sc in next 2st, 2sc in next space, 1sc in next 2st, repeat for all sides. sl st, to complete round and weave in ends.
This sample was made using a 5mm hook and chunky or 2 strands of DK worked as one

Do all four rounds or....
stop at round 2....
or mix them up...different hook size and yarn or mix with another GS.
